HELLOWEEN Prepare To Record New CD, Former Singer Completes Third Solo Album
July 9, 2002HELLOWEEN are currently in Hamburg, Germany writing and rehearsing material for the group's next studio album, due in early 2003.
In related news, former HELLOWEEN frontman Michael Kiske has completed work on his as-yet-untitled third solo album, which is tentatively scheduled for a late August/early September release through Noise/Sanctuary Records. According to Kiske's official newsletter, "the album contains some cool heavy metal elements but also some poppy songs, but as always it is a 100% Michael Kiske product. Michael hopes that the album brings him a big step further in his career."
Also on the Kiske front, the singer is apparently scheduled to have an operation done to take care of his ongoing "stomach problems," which had previously made his voice not sound the way he wanted it to. "Michi wants to return to stage and therefore this operation is necessary," continued the newsletter.
Among the tentative song titles that are set to appear on the upcoming CD are:
01. Reconsider
02. Boilingpoints Of No Reburn
03. Can I Know Now?
04. Freak-Away
05. Let's Be Sun-Like
06. A Bit Of Her
07. Ride On
08. Hey
09. Turn It
10. He Pretends
11. Hackneyed
12. That's Why
13. Overrated
